NUD Conducts Face to Face Flag Ceremony: Welcome
National University - Dasmariñas conducted its first ever face to face flag ceremony after the Covid-19 pandemic in its post celebration of the 124th Anniversary of the Philippine Independence, June 12, 2022.
The ceremony which was attended by both senior high and college students, including the academic team, and non-teaching personnel of the university started upon the singing of a song of prayer led by NUD Strings, Songs, and Symphony followed by the singing of the national anthem.
The program continued with a message from the executive director, Ms. Lagadia, who expressed her warmest greetings to all the academic members, non-teaching personnel and students for their commitment to NU Dasmarinas. She also emphasized "patriotism," one of NU's core values. Dr. Valera, academic director, reminded everyone especially the students to always follow and observe health protocols.
In addition, Ms. Jasmin, school nurse, briefed the students regarding rules and regulation needed to be observed while they are within the campus as the university now implements limited face to face classes. She reiterated the single entry policy and that students are prohibited to go to the mall during class hours.
The ceremony ended with the singing of the NU hymn.
